Mark Fewster is the winner of the ISTQB® International Software Testing Excellence Award 2023. The Award Panel selected Mr. Fewster in recognition of his significant contribution to the testing profession.

Mark has over 30 years of industrial experience in software testing. For more than two decades, he has provided software testing consultancy and training (via Grove Consultants and Grove Software Testing). His contribution has had a direct impact on the careers and testing practices of thousands of software testers globally. Mark has been a strong advocate and thought leader for test automation since the 1980s. He has published multiple papers and co-authored highly acclaimed books on this important topic. He has been a popular speaker at national and international conferences and seminars, and has won the Mercury BTO Innovation in Quality Award.
